The was an incidental shot, as I was awaiting for the blue moon to raise from behind that majestic Mt. Hood. As we were waiting for the moon to come up, the sun was setting behind us. It was such a lovely scene, the shadows running ahead – first over the trees, then the sandy river, then the plains and then over Mt. Hood itself. For a spilt second, the last rays of the sun kissed the tip of Mt. Hood - creating this surreal scene !
